Print Servers
Choosing the Right Computer System Will Save You from Headaches.
Although you can run Gerber’s Omega Software on most modern PCs, we strongly recommend purchasing a dedicated print server with the right ports and system requirements.
Print servers can be purchased with your system or by your internal IT staff.
Computers purchased through Graphic Marking Systems will be fully tested with all software installed prior to shipment. Graphic Marking Systems can pre-configure systems in our packages...
If your internal staff is purchasing the PC, choosing the right computer is crucial to successfully printing jobs with the Gerber Edge FX.
It is recommended to purchase a dedicated computer for the print server but any computer with the minimum requirements will work.
Additionally, the installer is recommended to have Administrator permissions on the machine.
