Printable Media
There are many media types. Rather than using generic materials for all your needs that could have disappointing results, we can guide you to media that is best suited for your specific application.
About Media Types: If you want more detail on any media, we have broken them into categories based on applications. Click on About Media Types or any categories in the left side bar for more specifics.
Label Media - Usually refers to polyester based material for durable markings. Different colors and adhesives are available.
Marking Media - Although it can refer to all materials for graphics in the broad sense, decorative, non-informational graphics such as striping is what we are referring to on this site.
Decal Media - Usually refers to very thick vinyl such as what is used for football helmet decals, or very thin (low profile) material used for models and products that are going to be clear coated after the decal is applied.
Control Panel & Overlay Media - Usually refers to materials that are printed on the back side (sub-surface) and then laminated with adhesive. We talk about both sub-surface, and top surface production.
Security Media - This refers to label material that is either hard to remove, or destructs upon the attempt to remove it, or leaves evidence that it was tampered with.
Sign Media - Refers to a wide variety of vinyl in colors, mostly for cutting vinyl letters and striping. Most of these materials can also be printed on.
Special Media - This refers to media that is either unique or has special uses. This can cover media for fabrics, magnetics, PVC and film positive media. |
