Overlay Media

Overlay Media refers to materials that used to create button and control panel overlays and membrane switch overlays. Many are printed on the back side (sub-surface) and then laminated with adhesive. We list both sub-surface and top surface + laminate media.

Edge ReadyGerber LexEdge Outdoor - 10 mil reverse-print Lexan with UV inhibitors designed for 3 to 5 years of UV exposure. Intended uses include but are not limited to durable name plates, outdoor graphic overlays, control panels, and sub-surface signage.

Armalex Laminate - Armalex Laminate is a polycarbonate replacement. Rather than printing on polycarbonate and then adding adhesive, you can print on the material of your choice and then laminate with Armalex to give you industrial strength durability.
Colors: Textured semi-gloss clear
Thickness: 8 mil.
 
Lexan® Laminate - Lexan brand polycarbonate is UL recognized with GMS High-Bond polyesters and GerberColor™ foils. Use as a laminate when you want to print on your choice of material. It adds a more rigid, smooth, velvet matte finish on your graphics.
